So what exactly is wrong with the controls? Guys like you slammed WAW last year for not having enough control customizability, for having presets instead of sliders, that kind of thing. MW addresses that and provides you with all the options you need.

If you're just referring to the comments in the ign review about the cursor being too unresponsive - did you even play this game yourself? Bozon is the only person out there - either a reviewer or just a regular gamer - who has complained about this. If you watch the video review, you can see he's playing it with the cursor sensitivity cranked way up. Of course this is going to make it feel unresponsive. They didn't give it a fair shake by setting the controls to an extreme setting, and then complaining about it.

And if you did actually play it, then what specifically is wrong with it? All you mention is the framerate, which by and large is solid. And by the way, this was a 9 month project - where you came up with two years, I have no idea.

A frakking shame? Now that I've watched it, I can recognise a Battlestar Galactica reference when I see one ;-)

that is the question. hopefully it'll either bypass them(like every single ea game does on wii with ea nation) or have nintendo allow access to the address book as an in game roster.

because you can add from random encounters, meaning you don't need to fiddle with codes if you find an opponent you like.(also, adding people you like ftw)

does it allow message board invites like mkwii? if so then there's no real problem.

I am baffled that they didn't bypass NWC though. =/

if every game used the address book as the roster or even just went the mkwii route(invites) my largest complaint about NWC is gone.

if every game used wiispeak for friend matches my second largest complaint is gone.

if every game allowed hosting matches with strangers(thus allowing match type to be selected) my third largest complaint is gone.

if gh:wt's auto-login to nwc was in every game….. it'd be icing on the cake.

that, unfortunately, is a lot of ifs with no definites.
