We're certain there are already hard-modded units there playing "backups", but now they can go legit. They'll get the usual assortment of hardware with Wii Sports bundled in and localized to traditional Chinese for 8,500NTD, and the WiiPlay bundle for another 1,500NTD. But it appears that the Taiwan Wii console's own menus will be in Japanese. Some 1,500 years ago, Japan 'borrowed' Chinese Characters for their own writing system. Today it looks like they're giving them back. Huzzah! Check out the press release after the break.
